Loads of versions of this available, Eddi made it more widely known when she sung it at the re-convening of The Scottish Parliament after the devolution vote.
Hopefully she'll get to sing it again post September 18th.....

I jammed this song much earlier by different artists. This version is because tonight (Tues 20th Jan) I'm attending my first of three Celtic Connections 2015 concerts - featuring Eddi Reader. (http://www.celticconnections.com/events/Pages/event.aspx?ev=2b5163a6-e6e7-495e-a494-a3bd0107ceba) I don't always agree with her political points of view and she can be a bit of an acquired taste but she is a major player on the Scottish/Celtic Connections scene. BTW the song was written by her husband, John Douglas.
