i first saw electrelane when i was working at the greek in LA and they opened for arcade fire in 2007. i had never seen or heard of them before. thank god they had a decent sized back catalog because they were right on the verge of splitting.
i fell in love as soon as i heard the first note verity hit and kept sticking people in the wrong seats their entire set, i couldn't be fucking bothered. they were and are fucking magic.
and extremely fucking killer live.
