Hard to go wrong with Ella.
I'm spending 2014 studying Ella Fitzgerald's complete Decca sessions (1935-1955). While there is a wealth of music to choose from, this is the Ur-song of her catalog and it has not left my head for a week straight. She rerecorded it over the years, but here's the 1938 original with the Chick Webb Orchestra.
