This Is My Jam was a haven for discovering new music from sources such as bandcamp. My new favorite is Eskimeaux (aka Gabrielle Smith) who hails from Brooklyn wherein a collective of artists such as Frankie Cosmos and Bellows reside. It's all bedroom made music which I've talked about previously on TIMJ. And that's what's so cool about TIMJ: you feel like you really are looking at people's record collections. It is the one music site where it all feels exciting because of that authenticity. Anyhow, this track comes from Eskimeaux's debut album O.K.
