It's more difficult to love our fathers than our mothers. Unfortunately, i realised it when it was too late. I love you dad, I'll always remember you.
I'm going to start a mix filled with the first song I ever heard or remember hearing from my favorite bands. I found out about Explosions in the Sky from my friend Matt, who lived in the apartment across from us and was kind enough to let us listen to his collection (though to be fair we let him have his way with our collection too). For several years I would put this song on practically every mix I made. It seemed to fit in everywhere. It will always evoke feelings of late night Austin and would compete with but eventually lose to Friday Night Lights' "Your Hand in Mine" for a place on our official time in Austin soundtrack.
