I've been falling further in love with this place recently. This song has this big kind of wondrous uplifting feeling to it. I think it kind of describes a fair number of people's love for Southern California. Our depressed author quit a band he was in and left Washington for SoCal and discovered this magnificent place. He sings, "How was I to know, That milk and honey flow, Just a couple states below" Last night I was talking with friends. Explaining to them that I view LA as this chose your own adventure city. It always gives more. I've been operating in this space of feeling so happy I could cry. It's often how I feel on a dance floor. I've hit euphoria. It's delightfully overwhelming. I just want to float in the sunshine forever friends.

This guy is like Brian Wilson, Harry Nilsson, Rufus Wainwright, and Frank Zappa all made a pretty blue-eyed hipster love child. So obsessed with this guy right now.
