“Living in Colour” is a redhead that kissed me. It might have been 6 in the morning or 8 at night… She’d turn the music up loud enough to permeate the high ceiling. Shaking termites loose from the hundred year old historic wood, and surely bothering tenants in the office above us had it not been vacant. She was probably six or so years older than me, with more life than someone twenty my junior. She was feet shorter than me. While I was weak-muscled, I could manage lifting her when she needed a boost. When she turned the volume up, she would dance. She would leap, and shout, and sing.
