"There's no use even trying/Because it's hopeless/All of our dreams are dying/Of overdoses..." The over-the-top miserablism of the lyrics--contrasting with the jaunty, roller-skating-jam synth-pop of the music--has always made me happy, for some reason. This is one of Stephin Merritt's (Magnetic Fields) many side projects, and my favorite of all his records...kinda fits the unexpected demise (?) of TIMJ, my favorite social media site ever...I'll miss you all...   8
