One of the most essential albums of all time in my opinion. And my opinion happens to be a fact this time. Misunderstood and overlooked when released, It's now a staple in most music lover's collections. Gene Clark's voice has a hauntingly angelic quality that most listeners can't forget. On this album in particular, the lyrics are pure poetry and the way the melodies enhance them is inspiring. Kudos Gene Clark. Sorry you didn't get proper credit for this until it was too late.

The former  member of the Byrds and writer of Eight Miles High, went on to produce the classic, solo album "No Other" in '74. At the time it was widely regarded as a great sprawling folly and was a commercial failure. Now often regarded as a "lost classic", this is my favourite track, but give it time to kick-in at 1:30. #epic   17
