Sheryl Crow's Bond song 'Tomorrow Never Dies' always reminds me of this old Gene Pitney track

This is such a sleazy arrangement but I love it, and I've always loved Gene Pitney's slightly hysterical tone and range ... If I can, I might try to fit this song into the B.G. of a scene in my 'Adventures in Paradise' screenplay ... 'How can anything survive/ When these little minds tear you in two/ What a town without pity can do/ How can we keep love alive/ How can anything survive/ When these little minds tear you in two/ What a town without pity can do/ No, it isn't very pretty what a town without pity can do'   10

A rather appropriate track given the week I've had… Incidentally, this would be an excellent accompaniment to part of a burlesque routine, wouldn't it? Only part, mind. Ideally, you should have more than 3 minutes to undress :)   2
