Saw Cathy Mcgowan featured in a BBC doc recently and I instantly thought of this - rubbish miming, exactly what we wanted from our Punk Rock stars !
G #ABCofPunk is Generation X. Could have been Gang of Four, but they were rubbish. Gen X weren't much better, but this song at 1'20" is one of their better efforts. We always considered that they were a bit 'plastic punk', that is to say, not 'real' punk. Billy Idol does his best, but he comes across as very clean cut and his snarling looks fake. But, at least there are bands for G.
