One of the finest moments from "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway".... beautiful song - interesting to hear how this influence shows up in bands like Cocteau Twins and Sigur Ros...
in college I and a friend made a film to this. all slow, abstract textures. would love to see it now.

I was never a prog fan but this remains incredible music from young men barely out of their teens

Haunting. Utterly haunting. Not the same without Hackett's chilling riff running through it and for that reason it's not as good as the original, but this version is probably what Genesis would have sounded like if those four had stuck together and I love it for that.
I've been enjoying the original and the 1999 version equally as of late, so I'll post both of them here.
