Theme: Drummers People are often shocked when Phil Collins shows up in top 10 drummer lists or other artists (especially drummers) hold him up as legend. While his pop music after "No Jacket Required" was lazy his work with Genesis and his early solo career was often remarkable. Nursery Cryme through Wind & Wuthering is his most lauded drumming but I chose Mama mostly because I've already posted a Gabriel era Genesis tune very recently and partly it's one of his last truly great moments.

One of few post-1976 Genesis songs that hits the spot for me. The maniacal laughter is the icing on the cake.
