This is the way the band should have been for quite some time, but sadly, it wasn't. Here, in all their progressive-rock glory are Steve Hackett, Michael Rutherford, Tony Banks, Phil Collins, and Peter Gabriel. Here is GENESIS and "Supper's Ready."
"And it's hey babe, with your guardian eyes so blue, Hey my baby, don't you know our love is true... ... Can't you feel our souls ignite Shedding ever changing colours, in the darkness of the fading night, Like the river joins the ocean, as the germ in a seed grows We have finally been freed to get back home."
Before the lamb lied down, before tonight tonight tonight, there was Supper's Ready.Music starts at about 2:30

G is for Peter Gabriel, Genesis and guilty pleasure. I wouldn't normally admit to liking Genesis - infact it might be my downfall - but many years ago I used enjoy this. I don't actually own anything - it was my ex that owned them and I haven''t played any for years. I've always had a soft spot for Peter Gabriel though - esp after he stopped looking mental and branched out on his own. : )

It might be a good thing that they don't make 'em like this anymore.
