The Recording Academy has announced 'All Things Must Pass' is to be inducted into the legendary GRAMMY Hall of Fame in 2014. Well done, George! You'll live forever in my heart.
Thanks for every tune that makes my day better and this one is a mantra nowadays. "All things must pass / None of life's strings can last /So I must be on my way/ And face another day..." #masterpiece 10
A very poignant Jam for us this time, to mark George's passing on 29th November 2001. Of course his wonderful legacies of music with The Beatles, Traveling Wilburys and his solo work, together with his charity "Material World Foundation" keep him with us. This was George's final "TV performance" in 1997. The interview was intended to promote Ravi Shankar's new album, but George ended up playing a spontaneous concert while the amazed studio staff kept recording. The full 40 minute session is here:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjWTFlg2Er0&list;=PLBy-7b62JuD3X_aQ0SSJ1Tu3UADizIsC_&index;=25
After his death, the Harrison's family statement read, "He left this world as he lived in it: conscious of God, fearless of death and at peace, surrounded by family and friends."
