O is for ON THE ROAD AGAIN ..I remember it well..my first radio cassette recorder...I'd saved up my paper round money and went to Comet to pick out one I could afford...it was a 'Marantz'...and one of the first cassettes I ever got to play on it was the 'McVities Rock Classics' cassette...(I think it came free with a packet of Digestive biscuits, or maybe you had to send away for it) ...anyway, the first track on that cassette was Canned Heat's 'On The Road Again' so I've always loved it.....I'd play it over and over again.There was other great tracks on that cassette but this remains a favourite and this version of it by Gert Wilden and Orchestra is such a humdinger! I know that On The Road Again was a huge hit all over including in Germany, where Gert Wilden used it as the title theme to the 1970 film 'SchoolGirl Report' (released in the UK as 'Confessions of a 6th Form Girl)...I've not seen it, but I know that it was a commercial success in Germany, spawning 13 Sequels up until 1980   26
