I'd never heard this until a week ago. It's from a new release of material recorded during his final album. It was passed to his family who asked for it to be released. It comes out in record shop next week.
Saturday is Record Store Day 2014....the album of unreleased tracks by the legendary Gil Scott-Heron is top of my list of purchases....support your local record store....
