A largely unknown, but excellent, Jimmy Webb song, in a rare recording by Glen Campbell.
A little-known Jimmy Webb song in a rare recording by his oft-time interpreter, Glen Campbell. "Lightning in a Bottle" is a good example of how Webb can craft both intriguing lyrics and soaring melodies and marry them together into an appealing whole. Songwriting at its best, in my opinion.
