This past weekend, I was washing dishes and listening to iTunes radio, while Lily was doing her homework in the kitchen. When this song came on, she instantly recognized it from my obsession with the "Once" soundtrack when she was in kindergarten and started singing the chorus. I joined her for an impromptu duet. It's truly those small, unexpected joys that make life wonderful...
The song is featured in the 2007 film Once, which starred Hansard and Irglová, and for which it won the Academy Award for Best Original Song at the 80th Academy Awards.

Saw her last night as a warm up act for Damien Rice ... what a voice :)
The beautiful intro is definitely the USP accompanied by #beautifullyrics. One of the best #acousticsong ever.
