Album#1 contd...When I took my first tentative step on TIMJ, I wasn't sure how to play the game. Just play prog? Well known cross-genre songs? Songs that would gather up 'likes' & followers? And that fellow Jammies, is the beauty of this little concept. There are no rules. Jump around musical fields and let your mind be free!! That said, I've posted once about 'Astounding First Albums' and here's another. 1993, Fuzzy, from the unspeakably brilliant, Grant Lee Buffalo. I was on the hunt for something, well, different. Read a review & took a chance. It had been many years since an album took immediate hold, the way that Fuzzy did. I could do all the superlatives, but I urge you to listen. As for Mr Grant Lee's voice...well...In passing, my first full car listening experience, was preceded by an approach from a young lady, who upon my leaving the office garage late one summer evening, asked if I was "looking for business". I politely refused. Nothing gets between me and a new album...

I shouted out for Marie
I darted out the door
An old man on the wooden porch said
What you in there for
Son you got no business
The hoodoo store's been closed
Long as I remember
A century I suppose
