Handsome is another excellent forgotten 90's alt-rock band. (They were ahead of their time, particularly on the impossible-to-Google-band-name front.) There's some 90's hardcore-supergroup-nepotism going on here (I forget who comes from which band) but I know that lead singer Jeremy Chatelain toured as the bass player of Helmet a few years back. If you think you might be a hardcore fan, but hardcore has always been too screamy for you, Handsome is a perfect place to start.
