What a legend. I could have chosen any number of songs by this great man. The Carnegie Hall concert is epic.

My daughter learned this song in preschool and sings it around the house. But she sings, "...had to leave a little girl in King-stee town."
One of the first records I remember. My Mom had it on 78 long before 'vinyl' was invented - more likely bakelite. Back in those days the 'little girl' was my sister, Lindsey. Later it was a 'go to sleep' song to my daughters, Tammy and Lynette. Memories!
It was this video that introduced me to the song. <33
