This isn't particularly "my jam" but I did listen to it over and over as I started working on the concept for my response song to it. You'd think the story of a teenage runaway who ends up having sex with a crazy lady for shelter and ends up dying of AIDS later wouldn't be so life affirming, but it is actually is and definitely better than this song.
