Herb Alpert is the only artist to have both a Billboard #1 hit as a vocalist AND an instrumentalist. (Songs released 11 years apart). : )
1979. #GuiltyPleasureWeek. Not sure why this reminds of being a kid growing up around NYC, but it does. Right up there with Chuck Mangione's "Feels So Good".
