great sample/great song.
This one would be worth digging up on vinyl, if you can find it. Funky slow jam in a minor key, purportedly recorded live in a South Chicago church in either 1970 or 1986. Great organ and octave-walking bass line. Kanye wanted to sample this for "Onsite" from his "Yeezus" album, and may have re-recorded his own chorus since chasing down some kids from 30 to 40 years ago would be a challenge at best.
