Danceable, crisp, and quite amusing, this is probably the best track from the new Hot Chip album, something I've been pumping of late. From the bed of plucky synths to the electro drum machine beat, there are a lot of fun musical pieces here, but there's a great song here, too. It's just as vague as it needs to be, and it's delightfully self-aware. The catchy chorus parts of "playin' easy to get" and "fear doesn't live here anymore" would easily get hammered dozens upon dozens of times if this were a typical dance track. But it's a Hot Chip track. These guys know the art of infection -- less is more.
