I love Imogen, and the new album is great. Give it a listen!
She is very silly but I do love her.
Feels like I've been waiting a billion months for the new album, but I can wait 'til August... I think.
Far from a gimmick, the special controller gloves that she uses to play this song are really pretty inconsequential as far as her showing her connection to the live song is concerned. This is testament to them both really, Imogen's performance is purely her, and the gloves are playing the role of an interface perfectly (i.e. getting out of the way).
