NINETEEN FIFTY FOUR, FFS. Pat Hare on guitar so far ahead of his time, though also a double murderer so perhaps best not dwell.   1

James Cotton started recording in 1953 and is renowned as a great blues singer and harmonica (harp) player, so why did I choose to jam this song that was recorded in 1954 that doesnt feature James playing harmonica at all? Well the answer is simply that this record features Pat Hare on guitar who is documented for his terrific distorted guitar sound that at that time was quite unique.   15
