When my parents got divorced when I was a kid, I used to listen to this song all the time.
The cause of the derision laid at James Taylor's door in latter years is a mystery to me. He is so much more than the 'Obama-Rock' tag with which is often labelled. He is certainly a man who has lived a life and consequently has written songs that tell, very movingly, of his experiences. Here he joins up with J.D. Souther - bringing together two of the purest voices in modern music.
