Jefferson Starship's first album, "Blows Against the Empire," is incontrovertible evidence that Paul Kantner was doing WAY too much blow back in the day. But that (and the hokey spaceship noises) notwithstanding, this song is beautiful. And Nicky Hopkins was his usual stellar (interstellar?) self on this cut.
