A nice memory from 1975, this song, written by Kenny Nolan, was really the only major success for Jim Gilstrap. He was mainly a session singer who performed with some good people, Elkie Brooks, Quincy Jones and Stevie Wonder. At the time it was probably more popular than the record charts indicated, but then what we listened to usually didn't get in the charts anyway. I'm not sure the words would pass the PC test these days... #HopeYouLikeIt
