Why do lead singers of successful bands trade under their own names after the band goes on hiatus/splits up? I had no idea Jimi Goodwin was related to Doves. If I knew that, my first thought wouldn't have been, "that's a silly band name'. See Hamilton Leithauser of The Walkmen.
