All Along the Watchtower by Jimi Hendrix

“Timeless and perfect. Also nostalgic because it was the first Hendrix song (yes, I realize it was Dylan a cover) that I learned to play on guitar. Ah... back in the early days when I thought Strats were the only guitars I'd ever want.... ;)”

I was very late to Hendrix. It's only in the last couple of years that I've understood. Now I'm loving him. #Guitar   12

I love the way Hendrix's version of 'All Along The Watchtower' just explodes into action from the first second... Recorded: January 1968 at Olympic Studios, London, and June–August 1968 at Record Plant Studios, NYC.
