I recall seeing this footage on OGWT in 1975 or thereabouts, and wondering how the hell does he do that tube in mouth thing. I still don't know.

I have always loved Joe Walsh's work - from James Gang to Eagles. This is the fabulous Rocky Mountain Way Live At Seville in 1991 playing with Nuno Bettencourt, Brian May, Joe Satriani and Steve Vai (among other great and goods). I relate to Joe; like me he has big hands, and we both like musicality. We also prefer showing orf over showing orf on the guitar. Musicality AND performance over guitargodliness. Not that I'm claiming either for myself, of course, but I prefer Joe's approach as it's just core, organic and honest stuff. And he does sound like Chris Griffin from Family Guy.
