about 5 years since i last heard this
I chose this song because I believe it perfectly describes the American culture. It talks about living the ultimate American dream, and then having to simply adjust to life. Life goes on, long after the thrill of living is gone. #AMST3050
One of those songs where, whenever you hear it you realise just how good it is.
Working in Omaha Nebraska in the summer of 1982 as a Medical intern this was our back drop track for cruising around at night in a beat up 68 Ford Galaxy that had been through a sandstorm so no paint on it . FM radio ruled there . Great times , this was the song . Punk was not even on the radar there then !!
