Mitt lilla Barn by Jojje Wadenius
“This is close to my heart. I love Jojje. He made this album back in the 70's (?). Lyrics by Barbro Lindgren - one of Sweden most well known writers of childrens books. Then he added music. Everytime people of my generation hears this we get kind of soft inside. A couple of years back I went to see Jojje preform all those songs and ofcourse people of my age had brought their children, sat them in front of the scene. But then when the music started, all the singing was done by the parents, way back. This song is also well sampled by swedish hip hop artist, and others. Jojje also had a brilliant career in the states as a blues guitarist. He stil playes. I also should add that this song is writen from a childs perspective about wanting to have a child when it grows up (uhm... might be fairly clear in the lyrics). #SwedishMelancholia continues. It's also kind of #SillySaturday I'm heading out to play now. I hope you do the same. ;D”
