“Back in like, the first half of 2008, my #Chicago #FGC Homeboy, Derek Douglas (Subverb) was tellin' me about how #Dubstep was dope as hell and how it seemed to be gaining traction in the USA for a little while at that point. I hadn't heard any before, but a little bit after he had told me about it, I decided to look some up on my own. I remember I was on the #DrumAndBassArena website and they had a #Dubstep section on their page, so I looked there. "3K Lane" by #Joker and #Jakes was officially the first Dubstep I had ever heard. I think that's a great starting point, and had planned to post it here next, anyways. However, I accidentally came across this version with a couple of dope ass MCs on it. Track sounds even better with 'em, so this is the version you're getting. Crazy enough, though, is that I didn't even know until a few minutes ago, that 3K Lane was actually a mashup of two other tracks called "3K Out" by Jakes and "Gullybrook Lane" by Joker. Wow.”
