Wow!
Colorful story about gambling, luck and life. Live beginning with Joni singing matches perfectly with D. Alias on drums; Jaco and M. Brecker jam too, of course. I do kind of miss the lead-in from the album with the Mingus rap on coins in his pocket.
Jaco and Joni - who would have put those two together? But it happened. He pulled her into jazz singing and scat, and she pushed him into coming up with non-jazz bass lines for stuff like Coyote. What times, what music, what a melting pot the mid 1970s were. This was happening at the same time as disco, punk, prog rock, glam rock, electrofolk.... astounding times for the music lover! Enjoy. #getwellsoonjoni

This is one of the albums I listen to before I write every day.
Chosen as a substitute for Coyote, which itself was to celebrate the release of Hijira as a hi-res download.

It's all luck, it's just luck, you get a little lucky, and you make a little money.
