"We got a bucket that the tunes go through..." He doesn't need a bucket to carry one though...
Lyrically, this song reminds me of Springsteen, and it is not just the reference to "bad lands." It has a "Born to Run" and "Thunder Road" type romance to it. Sort of an us-against-the-world optimism that just grabs you and won't let go.
