Kate Tempest is an exciting young talent. A kind of broodier Mike Skinner. Her first solo album came out recently and it starts with this.

What an album, what an opener. Words flowing without hesitation, repetition or deviation, leaving so many rappers stranded, redundant in her wake, raising the bar out of sight. Kate Tempest, I salute you. I'm so proud just to belong to the same species.
