I heard this the other day on the radio, so many years since I heard it last...I think it's just a great song.
UK No 1 when I was born. "Sometimes you gotta fight to be a man" quoth-a. Oh, gosh, that sounds awfully serious. Cup of tea? The vaticinational/astrological/deterministic/coincidental/fatal/teleological implications of all this are truly mind-bending. I'm not at all sure what to make of it. If anyone was a lover rather than a fighter [pounds chest], though I guess that's the whole point of the song, so, yes, I accept your Kenny Rogers. I do wonder.
