Killing Joke Discography ~ Album: Brighter Than a Thousand Suns (1986) ~ OK, this album gets a bad rap, and it does have its flaws: the production is too glossy, some of the tracks sound a bit same-y, drum machines... but I stand by it. The vocals are consistently powerful and the songwriting is sharp. This album elicited a "sell-out" panic among die-hards (not totally unjustified), but on its own merits, Brighter Than a Thousand Suns is pretty damn good.   5
