Black Sabbath's 1st album wasn't released until 1970. Which might make this the 1st heavy metal record - 1969
While I still can, time to put up one of my favourite songs ever.

In the Court of the Crimson King is #49 in my all time album list. Not entirely sure which of the many remasters or edits this version of 21st CenturySchizoid Man this is, but no doubt the KC experts will know! I've also "Looped" the same track over at http://www.letsloop.com/loop/d7db9d37ac
