F is for FRIPP.....ROBERT FRIPP....I've been a fan of his guitar wizardry for ages and have decided upon this track 'The Sheltering Sky'from 1981's Discipline album, the first album of King Crimson's 2nd incarnation....I don't think there's anyone else who has such a distinctive style with the instrument. Over the years he's collaberated with a vast number of musicians, most notably on David Bowie's 'Scary Monsters' album, as well as Peter Gabriel, Daryl Hall, Blondie, Talking Heads, The Orb and of course Brian Eno, seen with him in the background photo from their album 'No Pussyfooting'....I've always liked that picture of those two..... #ABCsOfMe
