The only band, King Curtis & The Kingpins, who could give Booker T & The MGs a run for their money. It's been some years since I've listened to this great, great track. When this brilliant musician was murdered outside his apartment he was only thirty seven years old. It had a similar effect at the the time to the equally pointless and appalling murder of John Lennon only nine years later. Both died way, way before their time. #HopeYouLikeIt
