Italodisco was a short-lived genre of music during the eighties that was quickly eclipsied by Italohouse. The genre was famous for its space-synth style, and being an early precursor to electronic dance music as a genre in and of itself. This song is an absolutely typical and hilarious example of what this movement gave to us.
