I am a huge fan of Kris Kristofferson, his acting (especially LONE STAR), his singing but most of all his songwriting...this tune became the second posthumous Bill Board number 1 hit with Janis Joplin singing that cover...I think Roger Miller released it first but I could be wrong...Pink does a pretty good cover too#ABCsOfMe

Anyone who has lived will have at least one memory that is a burning dagger to the heart. Looking back, one should have realised how valuable it was and how utterly foolish it was to 'let it slip away'.
