"Aheym" "Lullaby" "Last Kind Words" by Kronos Quartet

“Spent the last 2 nights watching Kronos Quartet. Highlights were "Beyond Zero: 1914-1918" and "Bombs of Beirut" neither of which have been recorded yet. I think this video gives a good impression of what it was like.”

K is for Kronos Quartet. These have been going since I was born in '73. I didn't get to see them until just before Christmas 1990. I went up on the train from Rayleigh to the Queen Elizabeth Hall at the South Bank. They played Shostakovich and had me in tears ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3m5ohobcKb8). I didn't see them again until I was in my last year at uni 4 years later. This time it was Philip Glass. I love their versatility and respect their wonderful musicianship. 'Kronos Quartet performs Philip Glass' is a fantastic album; a present from my Mum!   10
