Lhasa died tragically young, but her beautiful voice and profound songs are still with us
Lhasa de Sela was an American-born singer-songwriter who was raised in Mexico and the US, and divided her adult life between Canada and France. She recorded a few gorgeous albums mixing English, Spanish and French. Her music is certainly a tragic beauty, even more so in light of the fact that she died of cancer on New Year's Day 2010.
