What I probably was listening to most this week...40 years ago. Well, not this version. I prefer to post relatively contemporaneous versions of these things, but apparently the rekkid company ain't allowin' it. I could have posted 1974 versions of "My Music" or "Your Mama Don't Dance," songs I thought were fine back in the day. And I still love "Angry Eyes" (including the version from the On Stage album released 40 years ago this month). But to be honest, I probably would have picked Golden Ribbons to share, as it's held up well. Oh well, I'm letting frustration get in the way of "my music." For a version of Angry Eyes performed by guys who look as old as me, it ain't bad. (Album released early April, 1974)
